Product Brief

Online Check-in (OLCI) was last refreshed in 2006. In the time since the last refresh, mobile has become the primary device for navigation, and UI patterns have evolved, leaving our guests with a repetitive, high-friction process for check-in.

Solution

The Solution
We will create an adaptive mobile solution that focuses on guest confirmation, rather than data entry. We will usher our gets forward and focus on speed through, rather than navigation into, our check-in process.

Considerations

- 4 Key Steps:
- o Personal Information
- o Cruise Ticket Contract
- o Onboard Expense Account o Print Pass (Set Sail Pass/...)
- Most information could be gathered from the reservation
- Celebrity and Royal have differences:
o Smart Ships have appointment scheduling for check-in
o Main Company collects full credit card information for Onboard Expenses
o Main Company collects your photograph for identification purposes
o Main Company tends to have more minors, while Secondary Company indexes
older

Vision

- Check-In is about Checking-In. Not about data entry, but validation, inference, and moving forward. Less about navigation and control, more about managing information by exception.
